Nick's Bday - in a Korean restaurant
Yes I am Korean but I don't often go to Korean BBQ restaurant much. Why? because It's simply expensive!
For Nick's special day, we went to a Korean restaurant called Gu.Korean Grill in Elsternwick.
Look at him! He was extremely excited!
The food here was fantastic. I mean meat is always yummy right?
but what I liked was the portion. It was really generous. We ordered a set menu which comes with 2 different types of meat and salad and veggies with 2 bowls of rice and Kimchi soup.
It's quite a lot! Isn't it?
Their service was brilliant too. The waitress kept checking our meat if there were cooked by cutting our conversation and making us somewhat awkward which was never rude but just awkward.
and even better, she left the meat on our plates lol. Nick should've opened his mouth!
The most authentic Japanese restaurant in Melbourne
We found the most authentic Japanese restaurant called Happy Kappa.
The owners were Japanese and the restaurant has a traditional but kind of grungy looking interior.
What we love about the place was the most importantly it had a fantastic affordable price range for all the menu!!
This Katsudon was only $8.8
This Salmon don was one of the pricey food there but it was like 11? 12 dollars !
